The Dresser Village Board consists of the Village President and six additional Village Trustees. This board is responsible for meeting the needs of village residents by appropriately allocating budgets to important services including the fire department, the library, and other resources and amenities. This board meets on the first Monday of every month.
Beginning as a small farming community, Dresser’s first growth spurt came when the SOO railroad junction was built in the area. More farms, businesses, churches, and a school sprang up as a result, and the community thrived. Though Dresser has remained small, it continues to be a prosperous community filled with fun and exciting things to do. The current population of Dresser is just under 1,000, with plenty of recreational and employment opportunities available for all.
