Galesville

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984, Galesville is a humble little city in Midwest Wisconsin located about an hour and 15 minutes due east of Rochester, MN. It is small in population with just over 1500 residents, but huge in charm and steeped in history. Founded by Judge George Gale in 1854, Galesville’s architecture in the Historic District could be described as the origination of continuity and design that we so often see now with urban development. This picturesque city is home to High Cliff Park which exhibits the most amazing nature trails among the cliffs, natural springs, and caves. Experience Rustic Road 91 which takes you through a scenic loop between WIS 54 and the Black River, or explore the local Farmers Market, Community Arts Center, Apple Orchard, and yes, even the Pizza Farm!
