Join RE/MAX Results outside our new Duluth office at 2516 London Road, to cheer on the runners as they pass by! Viewing the race from London road happens to be one of the best locations for watching. Grandma’s Marathon often has tough conditions with cold temperatures to start, heat towards the end of the race, wind off the lake, and sometimes rain. Trust me, the runners appreciate all the support they can get. Running 26.2 miles is not easy task in any weather conditions, and cheering crowds are a big mental boost.

No matter where you are planning on viewing the race from, be aware roadways are closed or restricted, and parking will be tight on the day of the race. With so many participants, their families and friends, as well as the general public, the area is overflowing with people. It is best to be there early to get a parking spot, and prime spot to watch the runners. The entire North Shore area is a wonderful place to visit for a vacation, weekend, or just a day trip from the Twin Cities. During the marathon weekend there are many special events planned from activities to dining if you are in the Duluth area.
