MINNEAPOLIS – The Results Foundation held it’s second fundraiser since being established in 2015, a golf tournament which took place on June 20th at Rush Creek Golf Club in Maple Grove, Minn. Nearly 200 golfers and non-golfers came out to support and raise funds that directly impact students in need of financial assistance who wish to attend the University of Minnesota. As a result of the golf tournament, the Results Foundation raised almost $20,000 which will go towards providing two scholarships for Fall 2017.
“We are blown away by the amount of support our organization has received in such a short amount of time of being established,” stated John Collopy, President of Results Foundation. “It’s just the beginning but I am excited about this foundation and its potential to make a huge impact in our communities.”
Immediately following the tournament was a dinner and presentation by John Collopy, President of the Results Foundation, and Rachelle Hernandez, Associate Vice Provost for Enrollment Management and Director of Admissions at the University of Minnesota. The Results Foundation’s first scholarship recipients, Cyrus Kian of Southwest High School in Minneapolis and Pachia Thao of Harding High School in St. Paul, were announced. In addition, Hernandez presented the President’s Club award to the Results Foundation as recognition of being a top donor to the university.
